Graphic Design Intern - Marketing Department
The Marketing Department is looking for an enthusiastic intern to join the existing team, working five days a week, from October – April 2024.
Required skills
• Candidates should be currently pursuing a degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, or related field.
• The intern will need to be flexible, have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, be self-motivated and self-disciplined, and be a strong team player.
• Strong attention to detail and well-organised personal working practices will be essential for success in this position.
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or other similar tools.
• Understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition.
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing channels and platforms.
• Communication skills should be well developed in order to deal effectively with ICCA members from different cultures and with varying levels of seniority (including directors and CEO's).
• Familiarity with web design principles and content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
• A portfolio of design work demonstrating creativity and technical skills is a plus.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the creation and design of marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, social media graphics, banners, and presentations, that aligns with the brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
• Assist in the maintenance and update of the ICCA's website, ensuring a visually appealing and user-friendly design.
• Provide graphic design support for the ICCA Flagship events websites: ICCA Congress, AES, The Future of Healthcare Meetings, and Global Association Forum.
• Contribute ideas and participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative concepts and marketing strategies.
• Assists the Design team in “production tasks” of print/digital collateral content
• Support email marketing campaigns and social media.
The applicant must have the necessary residence/work permits to be allowed to work in the Netherlands. Visa sponsorship is not possible.
Compensation
Gross EURO 400 per month towards expenses.
Commuting travel costs.
