Privacy Notice: How will we use the information about you that we hold?
ICCA will treat all personal data in a safe matter and respects the privacy of those involved. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
The International Congress and Convention Association – ICCA - is the global community and knowledge hub for the international association meetings industry, a role it has played since the association was founded in 1963. ICCA’s Vision is dedicated to shaping the future and value of international association meetings, and this critically depends on the provision of accurate, relevant data and on building valuable personal connections between members of our community (ICCA members, non-member suppliers and associations, meetings industry media and other industry stakeholders).
We hold very limited personal data on individuals who are or have recently been involved in the international association meetings that are tracked in our database, including those who organise or market these meetings, those who are involved in decision-making or policy matters, and those who supply services to these meetings. This data is shared within the ICCA community, and ICCA may contact such individuals from time to time to share relevant information on the international association meetings world.
We also hold information on individuals who have expressed an interest in ICCA membership, our services or expertise, or in the international association meetings market, for which reason we may contact these individuals from time to time, but this data is not shared with the ICCA community.
Data on both categories of contact person is processed under “legitimate interest”, based on their involvement or stated interest in international association meetings and/or the ICCA community.
