Marketing Coordinator

In this role, you’ll bring marketing campaigns to life—from content creation and campaign coordination to digital engagement and reporting. You’ll play a key role in executing marketing strategies that support ICCA’s mission to shape the future of international association meetings. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a hands-on role.
This position is perfect for someone who enjoys a mix of operational execution and creative input, and who wants to contribute to meaningful work in the global meetings industry.
Responsibilities

Support the co-development and execution of the annual marketing plan and campaign calendar.

Coordinate and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social media, website, newsletters) to drive member engagement and event participation.

Manage day-to-day marketing activities such as website updates, email communications, social media scheduling, and campaign performance tracking.

Conduct market research and support data-driven decision-making through campaign analytics and performance reports.

Maintain brand consistency across all channels by applying ICCA’s tone of voice and visual identity.

Assist with the creation of digital and print content, including light graphic design work where needed.

Coordinate with internal teams (e.g. Events, Membership, Regional Directors) to gather content and ensure timely campaign delivery.

Liaise with external suppliers such as designers, copywriters, and media partners.

Stay current on marketing trends, digital tools, and industry best practices.

Provide administrative and project support to the Marketing Manager.
Qualifications

Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar marketing role.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Demonstrated experience in B2B marketing (experience in the association or events industry is a strong plus).

Proficiency in CMS and CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite).

Familiarity with SEO, Google Analytics, digital marketing paid campaigns, HTML, and basic design or video editing tools is an advantage.

Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; other European languages are a bonus.

Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.

Proactive and collaborative team player with a creative mindset and commercial awareness.

Residency & Work Permits: Must be based in the Netherlands with valid work authorisation to live and work in the Netherlands.
