Business Exchange

The best hidden secret of the ICCA Research, Sales & Marketing Programme: the Business Exchange - the easiest way to find new clients for your destination! If you bring home just one lead from this session, your registration fee is already money well spent.
All ICCA Research, Sales & Marketing Programme participants are invited to take part in this unique session. It is necessary to apply to participate and it is open to ICCA members only.

How does the application process work? 
When registering for the ICCA Research, Sales & Marketing Programme, you are asked to indicate whether you want to apply to participate in the Business Exchange. If you have indicated you want to participate instructions will be included in your confirmation email which you receive after you have completed your registration. The instructions also include a link to an online application form where you will need to complete information on the event you are putting forward for the Business Exchange.

Please bear in mind that this congress should meet the following criteria:
- attract at least 50 participants
- be held on a regular basis
- rotate between at least 3 different countries

Please note: In case of a past meeting, it should not have taken place more than 2 years ago. In case you do not (yet) have any direct experience with clients, we suggest you contact a more senior member of your staff to get the necessary details.

What happens when you submit a lead?
Once we have received your completed BE application form we will check the suitability of the event and upon approval you will receive a confirmation that you are now registered for the Business Exchange. The BE confirmation will also include information on how to access the other BE leads which have been submitted, so you will be able to see an overview of who will bring which lead to the BE session. This will allow you to get in touch with BE participants beforehand to set appointments.

Please note, the deadline for submitting a bid is Wednesday 16 May 2012.

How will it work at the event?
At the BE you will share background details on potential meetings with fellow participants. It is an informal session without presentations, you only need to come prepared with regards to the event details. Additionally there will be the possibility to share BE information during breakfast, lunch and the evening social events. Spotme will help delegates to identify leads and to send meeting requests to other BE participants.
