ICCA Sector Venues European Business Workshop

About ICCA Business workshops – A relax and informal platform to do business. 

ICCA Business workshops are a quick and effective way to get a well-informed overview of what offers are available on the market from ICCA members and to exchange knowledge best practices between associations and meeting suppliers. 



ICCA Business workshop offer an informal and small platform for associations and meeting suppliers to interact, and thus attendance is capped at 30 persons (15 ICCA members and accompanying association executives). 

During the workshop, a series of one-to-one business meetings will take place where all associations executives will have the chance to meet sale representatives to discuss their specific meeting requirements.  

The workshop also includes the Association Forum – a closed session for association executives to discuss topics proposed by themselves, to share best practices, exchange knowledge and experiences.

  • Share experience with other associations who face the same challenges of running meetings; 

  • Save time and money by meeting potential business partners from around the world in one location. 


Who should attend 

  • ICCA Members from the ICCA Venue Sector who are in good standing 

  • Senior decision-makers of association meetings who are actively looking for suppliers (destinations, venues, Professional Congress Organiser), representing associations with meetings which: 

  • rotates between at least?3 European countries?(only?European meetings will be accepted) 

  • attract between 500 and 2500 delegates  

  • take place at least once every 4 years  

  • last at least 3 days 

Registration is to be completed by the ICCA member, who will appoint a senior association executive to accompany them. Association executives are fully hosted by their accompanying ICCA member.  

Only registrations including eligible association representatives will be accepted straight away. Registrations including representatives from a core PCO or AMC will be held on a waiting list until the registration deadline, and will only be offered a place if there are still places available. 

Association representatives and ICCA members who have attended a workshop in the past two years will be excluded. 



The business workshop will take place at the?Bologna Congressi, Bologna, Italy. Attendees will be housed at the Royal Hotel Carlton. 



Registration fee: €1000 (incl. VAT) for both client and supplier.  

Registration will be available in January 2022. 



Places on this Workshop are on a first-come-first-served basis and only two venues from the same country can participate and only one from the same city.  

ICCA members registered for this workshop in 2020 will be granted priority access.
