ICCA Latin America Business Exchange 2022

ICCA takes pride in maintaining a proactive stance to ensure members are moving ahead with the recovery of Business Events, by enhancing member value and demonstrating leadership by helping you to continue to act in a marketing-oriented manner.
One of the pillars of ICCA is the unique business culture whereby members are willing to share detailed, commercially sensitive information on meetings they have recently won/handled/organised with other ICCA members. The information can quickly turn into potential clients for participants that represent other destinations and so, together we create huge business opportunities for our members in challenging times.
ICCA North America Business Exchange’s criteria:
- Meetings that took place last two years or are taking place in the future
- The lead must include ‘Latin America’ as rotation
- Any ICCA or Non-ICCA leads with:
- A minimum attendance of 50 participants
- Rotates between minimum of two countries
- This includes any corporate, governmental meetings that meet the above criteria
- Members are requested to only submit leads they did not already use for any of ICCA Business Exchange sessions in the last two years (2020-2022).
ICCA Business Exchange sessions are designed to ensure that commercial confidentiality issues are respected whilst encouraging interaction between the different sectors of ICCA membership.
It’s all about sharing leads about non-repeat business. Once you have won an association meeting, it isn’t likely to come back to the same destination for approximately 10-15 years. And once the event is secured, there are two things you can do with your acquired information about that meeting: you can save it in your archive, where in a couple of years it will be too out-dated to use again. Or you can exchange this information for up to date and current inside information on other events you might win now. The latter you can do at an ICCA BE session.
How will it work?
If you are signed up for the BE at IMEX Frankfurt, you will be asked to study the leads in advance and select the ones which are of interest to you. During the session, at one table one ICCA member will present a lead and others can engage in Q&A. Then you will be asked to attend the table where the next member presents his or her lead. This process will happen a few times until everybody has presented their lead.
Make sure that you have inside information regarding the meeting that you want to present. Also, it will be good if you can come ready with your questions for the presenter!
This event is open to FIEXPO Latin America delegates who are ICCA Members.
