The red update button is your friend! The more you use it, the more concrete information you get. ICCA members - together with the ICCA team - are working hard to achieve a mutually beneficial situation of sharing information on the ICCA Association Database.

Keep finding ways to press it and you'll be in the running to become the next Researcher of the Month - or even Researcher of the Year!

Cintia García Valenzuela, Executive at Santiago MICE Bureau has secured the coveted title this month! Here's what Benoit had to say:

How is the ICCA database beneficial for your work/organisation?

The ICCA database is a powerful tool to know about the international events that are scheduled for our city and identify those potential events to be held in the future. It is also a great tool for attracting congresses. We use it frequently at the Santiago MICE Bureau.

Do you have any tips for your fellow ICCA members?

I believe that collaborative work is a fundamental pillar and extremely beneficial for everyone who uses the platform. It is extremely important to update the ICCA database, especially in these times when international congresses and conventions have undergone many changes.

Since we have never gone through a period like this, where the vast majority of events are subject to constant changes we must strengthen this joint effort.

What positive message would you like to share with ICCAWorld?

Without a doubt, the pandemic has helped us value our day to day life and given us the opportunity to reinvent ourselves with it. That is why my message to all the members is that we value this new stage and continue to take care of each other to meet again soon. We are a resilient and strong industry!
