What was your motivation to join ICCA?
Armenia is a new country for international meetings industry with massive potential. To develop and expand this potential we were searching for the right partner who will help us not only to attract new associations to the country but also provide educational courses, network etc. ICCA is the most prestigious global community and knowledge hub. ICCA encompasses all major stakeholders in the world of association meetings: leading Convention Bureaus, PCOs, Venues etc. We had no hesitation in our decision and we are proud to be part of ICCA.
Tell us your story. How did ARMCONGRESS get started?
Our team organized many corporate events in the last decade, but our passion was always international congresses. Our strategic goal was to become a Professional Congress Organizer (PCO) and to develop the Convention industry in Armenia. Pandemic gave us the opportunity to focus on our strategic plan and launch ARMCONGRESS, which we believe will become the leader and driver of the industry.
What sets ARMCONGRESS apart?
Armenia is an emerging market and it is a new destination on the map of the international meetings industry. It is unexplored, but at the same time it has huge potential. It is always challenging to open new doors and to be a pioneer, but we love our country and do it for Armenia first. Successful international events and satisfied partners - it's a matter of patriotism for us.
What can we expect to see from ARMCONGRESS in the future?
Remarkable international events in Armenia. Armenia has many surprises to offer to its visitors and we are ready to show the World our international standard events.
