What was your motivation to join ICCA?
Shanghai Fumed Convention & Exhibition Management Company has been a member of ICCA from 2013 to 2020. Due to Covid-19, the company didn’t renew its qualification from 2021 to 2024. Now we rejoined, aiming to achieve the following objectives by aligning with ICCA:

What sets Shanghai Fumed Convention & Exhibition Management Co., Ltd. apart?
Over the years, we have successfully organized more than 3,000 international and domestic academic medical conferences and exhibitions from 2007 to 2024. Our expertise is backed by over 15 years of experience in organizing professional medical conferences. From 2019 to 2024, we have held more than 350 academic conferences annually, including large-scale international and domestic conferences with events ranging from 100 to 5,000 participants. Additionally, we have branches in rapidly developing exhibition cities in U.S. and China, including Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Hangzhou.
Furthermore, we have developed our own "Fumed Intelligent Conference System," which includes products such as an online registration service system, an online submission system, an online review system, an online payment system, electronic nameplates, a self-service registration system, a facial recognition system, an RFID contactless automatic identification system, and an academic conference management platform system.
Since July 2020, we have been a certified provider of Conference & Event (C&E) services on the Government Procurement Platform. Recently, our sister company, Foreasy Convention & Exhibition Planning (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., was accredited by M.I.C.E. Service Standards Technical Committee of Shanghai Tourism Standards Technical Committee as: A Shanghai Conference Service Standard Organization (Conference Organizer) AAAAA【Certificate No.: SCSS-2024-008】, once again becoming one of the only 10 AAAAA-level conference service organizations in Shanghai.
What is your favorite success story from your organisation?
Our company was the conference planner of the 16th Congress of the International Pediatric Nephrology Association (IPNA), which held successfully in 2013 in Shanghai, China. The meeting took place in the Shanghai International Convention Center, a perfect venue with conference rooms seating up to 2000 attendees. There were 8 state-of-the-art and keynote lectures, 40 scientific symposia, and 12 CME sessions. The Congress was complemented by half- and full-day satellite workshops devoted to CKD, dialysis, hypertension, patient education, charity activities, and rare inherited kidney diseased, including Alport syndrome, and oxalosis. This meeting brought together clinicians and basic scientists from around the globe to share their knowledge and latest research results.
Additionally, I would like to mention another conference we organized, the 18th Oriental Congress of Cardiology and World Congress of Cardiology (OCC-WCC 2024). OCC has always been adhering to its core principles of being "Open, Creative, Cooperative" to build an internationally influential academic event in the cardiovascular field. This year's OCC and WCC were held at the same time to jointly discuss the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases from a global perspective, further enhancing the international perspective. Forums such as the Heart Failure Forum, the Coronary Heart Disease Intervention Forum, and the Oriental Cinema were extremely popular. OCC-WCC had a total of experts and representatives from 37 countries and 29 different specialties participating, received a total of 3,770 paper submissions, arranged 58 academic forum units, 33 sub-venues, involving 332 academic chapters, and completed 1,218 academic reports. The Coronary Heart Disease Intervention Forum and the Structural Heart Disease Forum completed a total of 6 surgical broadcasts, the Oriental Live Studio completed 26 live broadcasts, and the Oriental Window completed 24 poster speeches.
What can we expect to see from Shanghai Fumed Convention & Exhibition Management Co., Ltd. in the future?
The company is committed to making significant contributions to both Chinese and international healthcare endeavors. We aim to provide highly professional services for medical academic exchanges, fostering a collaborative environment for experts and researchers. Several projects for international conferences are already in the pipeline, like WLNC-OCIN 2025 and ANR 2027. In the future, we will strive to be the best platform for the dissemination of medical knowledge, sharing the latest advancements
and knowledge in the field. By doing so, we hope to play a vital role in promoting the development of the healthcare industry and enhancing global medical cooperation.
