Meeting lengths staying short as planners cut costs

Four out of five meetings are one-day events, according to Capita Travel and Events' benchmark report.
Organisers are using shorter meetings, virtual conferencing and internal facilities to keep costs down, according to a new report from Capita Travel and Events.
The Meetings At The Heart Of Travel benchmark report revealed that 82 per cent of meetings are one-day events, with less than one in five lasting for two or more days.
