Content Worth Sharing—and Other Reasons Events Go Viral

Fewer than one in five event marketing executives believe they are “very effective” in creating a viral impact from their events—extending their reach and visibility through social media sharing. It’s a surprising statistic, considering that about nine in 10 say attendees do share content and experiences from their events with others, and seven in 10 believe that social media marketing efforts around events are “critical” or “very important.”
