FRANKFURT, May 2013: The Sarawak Convention Bureau (SCB) recently launched its International Marketing Campaign, ‘Telegram of Borneo’ that will target prospective clients across the globe.
In line with the Bureau’s core foci on winning bids, prospective association and meeting planners will receive a ‘Telegram of Borneo’ that is an invitation to connect with Sarawak at international trade shows such as IMEX Frankfurt, due to take place this 21st to 23rd May 2013 in Hall 8, Messe Frankfurt.
Upon receipt of the telegram, prospective clients will need to add “BE. Sarawak” on Facebook and join ‘The Borneo Telegram’ group administered by SCB. On confirmation of this, SCB will invite them to take part in a lucky draw during IMEX at the Malaysia booth (B200) during trade show hours. Among the prizes include unique Sarawak gifts and a Samsung Galaxy Tab.
‘We hope that by sending out the ‘Telegram of Borneo’, we will be able to connect directly with prospective clients and be in touch with them via social media. It’s a productive tool for sending updates and keeping in touch from miles across the planet,” commented Mr Mike Cannon, Managing Director of SCB.
