township® African conference bags are 100% manufactured by fair-trade accredited cooperatives based in the township communities of South Africa.
Alioune Ndione, Township European Business Manager, outlines the importance of this contract: “Our strategy is to build up long-term relationships with large International Associations as we recognize their leadership in driving change within the MICE industry. Once again, the World Heart Federation has chosen to commit to sustainable sourcing for their delegates bags and we are very pleased to continue to strengthen our partnership with the Geneva-based association after having supplied 11,000 bags to the 2012 WCC in Dubai”.
