Triple Delight for Cambridge Venues in Industry Awards

Two Cambridge venues put the city firmly on the meeting’s map at last night’s prestigious M&IT Industry Awards organised by Meetings and Incentive Travel magazine with awards in three classes.

The Møller Centre scooped a double gold in two categories: Best UK Management Training Centre and Best Conference and Banqueting Staff while Robinson College was rewarded with a bronze award in the Best Academic Venue category.

The awards recognise excellence in both service and product; over 1000 industry professionals came together at a glittering ceremony at Battersea Evolution to celebrate success in 19 categories.

Speaking about their bronze award, Nick Milne, Conference and Catering Manager at Robinson College said: “This is particularly special because it’s for the whole team and because it is all about the confidence our conference customers have in us.  Thanks to all of those who voted for Robinson!”

Staff at the Møller Centre are celebrating being voted the Best UK Management Training Centre for the fourth consecutive year, Stefan Mitham, Key Account Manager at the Møller Centre said, “Winning Gold for the 2014 ‘Best UK Management Training Centre’ and ‘Best Conference and Banqueting Staff’ categories is a fantastic achievement for The Møller Centre. These awards are voted for by our clients, and this truly inspires us to keep progressing as an organisation, and to be the best we can. Winning the ‘Best UK Management Training Centre’ category four years running is an achievement I am extremely proud of.”

The Møller Centre and Robinson College are both members of Conference Cambridge, which has 50 venues, in and around Cambridge, in its portfolio –
