At the closing session of the Forum for Young Professionals 2013 in Barcelona, it was announced that up to 3 free registrations were on offer to FYP 2013 delegates to attend either the ICCA Research, Sales & Marketing Programme in Amsterdam or the ICCA Congress in Antalya in 2014.
Candidates could win a registration by submitting an education session idea for either event which was sufficiently interesting to actually be used in the programmes. The ideas needed to be concrete, creative, and practical and with suggested speakers, target audiences, and formats.
All FYPers were encouraged to use this challenge to think in-depth about what makes a successful education session and the type of work that is required to imagine and design them.
Martina Buehler (Interlaken Congress & Events AG) and Sabine Heck (ICS International Congress Center Stuttgart), both submitted a winning idea.
Martina convinced ICCA with her idea about a session designed to improve delegates’ performance during Appraisal Interviews. Sabine’s winning idea was about how to use the refurbishment of venues as a positive opportunity rather than a threat to existing business during the close-down period.
Both won a complimentary registration to either the RSMP or ICCA Congress for 2014 or 2015!
