The Meetings Show new sponsor of ICCA Best Marketing Award

The Meetings Show signs a 3-year agreement to sponsor the prestigious ICCA Best Marketing Award.

The ICCA Best Marketing Award, established in 1997, recognises the excellence and outstanding achievements of organisations in their effort to market their destination or product.

ICCA CEO Martin Sirk: “The ICCA Best Marketing Award is about recognising what ICCA is all about: Sharing best practices in marketing your destination, venue, event, product or service to international association meeting planners to win business. We are very happpy to welcome The Meetings Show as a sponsor and to give them a global stage to market their tradeshow to the main meetings industry suppliers.”

Registration for the ICCA BMA 2015 is open

The ICCA Best Marketing Award is open to all ICCA members, regardless of their sector. Entries can range from full scale campaigns and branding exercises to individual promotions and events.

Finalists present their Marketing campaigns at the annual ICCA Congress, this year taking place in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The winner is chosen by judges and delegates on a 50:50 basis. The winner is announced at the Closing Ceremony of the ICCA Congress.

The marketing campaigns are evaluated on:

  • Creativity and innovation.
  • Quality of execution/professionalism in how the marketing was carried out.
  • Achievement of ambitious, clearly defined targets and objectives.
  • Return on Investment
  • Quality and effectiveness of communication
