Start preparing your PR activities around the new ICCA rankings

To allow members to prepare the release of their new position in the ICCA ranking by number of meetings organised in 2014, we release the new 2014 figures to members 2 days before we send out an ICCA press release.

Please note the release dates of the 2014 ICCA statistics below:

7 May: 2014 Statistics available to ICCA members in the Statistics Tool (under embargo until 11 May!)

On Thursday 7 May we will send an Email to the official ICCA contact of each member organisation when the new 2014 figures are available in the ICCA Statistics Tool, in which you can run your own tailor-made statistics reports on 52-years of meetings data (1963-2014), including the 2014 country and city rankings, and export them to PDF.

We kindly ask you to not publicise the news on your 2014 rankings before next Monday 11 May at noon, UTC time, when ICCA will send out an ICCA press release to announce the new rankings. This way we all publish the rankings simultaneously, which avoids creating confusion and gives all members a couple of days to prepare and plan their news releases.

11 May: ICCA and ICCA members publish 2014 statistics

On 11 May (Monday) at noon UTC time we will send out an ICCA press release and social medai messages on the 2014 statistics, including country and city rankings by number of meetings. This is also the time when you can go our with your press release. Remember to use the ICCA PR Kit to publish your news: Download the press list for the meetings industry and publish your news via ICCA's channels so we can help to amplify your news.
