MEET TAIWAN Cooperates with ICCA 4 Years in a Row

To strengthen bidding capabilities of Taiwan MICE practitioners and NGOs for international conferences, both ICCA and TAITRA are joining once again for a ICCA-Taiwan MICE Bid Workshop to be held during May 24-25 in Tainan, the jewel of Southern Taiwan. The only workshop of its kind in Taiwan, the ICCA-Taiwan MICE Bid Workshop is designed to enhance the bidding strength and strategies of MICE entrepreneurs and broaden their world vision. The two-day educational and motivational program will encompass various formats: keynote speeches, case studies, seminars, group practices, and presentations.

Speakers taking part in the workshop are outstanding and influential leaders of the MICE industry. For this 4th year, speakers who are invited to share their success stories and first hand experiences are: Mr. Andre Kaldenhoff, member of the ICCA Board of Directors and the Executive Director of Congress Center Lepzig; Mr. Mike Cannon, Managing Director of the Sarawak Convention Bureau; Mr. Noor Ahmad Hamid, ICCA Regional Director Asia Pacific Region; Mr. Jackson Hsieh, Chairman from Taipei Rotary International Convention; and Ms. Patti Tang, Executive Director from Willy Event Consultants PCO.

For the past three years, the ICCA-Taiwan MICE Bid Workshop was held in Taipei, Kaohsiung, and Taichung to resounding success. This year, delegates will meet in Tainan, a city of energy and vitality, steeped in Taiwanese culture and history. In addition, the region's diversity and hi-tech and traditional industry clusters, matched with the upcoming construction of the Tainan Convention & Exhibition Center in 2020, make the city a rising star in the MICE market.
