Japanese Culture, Comic and Animation at the International Convention Center in Jerusalem

Japanese characters took over the international Convention Center in Jerusalem for the Haruco, Haru – spring, Con – convention.

The convention is dedicated to Japanese animation and comics (anime and manga), popular Japanese culture and gaming (Japanese console and board games).

The star of the event was the famous manga artist, Ms. Katahira Yoshimi who specializes in spreading the Manga culture worldwide. She teaches how to draw with manga effects and how to tell a story through drawing and expressions.

The Japanese ambassador in Israel, Mr. Koji Tomita was one of the judges of a colorful costumes contest. 

A variety of attractions targeted for the fans, such as: lectures, workshops, panels, ventures and booths held here.

 

The convention is being held in the International Convention Center in Jerusalem for the 4th time.
