The ICCA team visited Durban in February to meet with our local host committee, get a feel for the city, and visit the venues and hotels preparing to welcome AMP delegates in June! As we get closer to the 2019 ICCA AMP, we're incredibly happy to be able to give you a taster of what it's store for you, our delegates, when you join us in the Zulu Kingdom for 3 amazing days of knowledge sharing, networking, and outstanding KwaZulu-Natal hospitality.

Through the eyes of our Regional Director Esmaré and Events Manager Sina, who were on the ground in Durban, take a journey through our host destination:

1. Venue visits

Esmaré and Sina went with our local hosts, represented by Sonto Mayise, Director of Durban KwaZulu-Natal Convention Bureau, to visit the various venues preparing to welcome ICCA AMP delegates:

Durban International Convention Centre

uShaka Marine World

Moses Mabhiba Stadium

2. Meeting inspirational local figures

Professor Quarraisha Abdool Karim

Fun fact: Professor Karim, a Durban local, was named one of 7 trailblazing women in science by the BBC in 2017.

Mr. Sihle Zikalala, MPL

3. How we will leave a legacy

The Abalindi Welfare Society, a hospice and home for children and the elderly, will be our CSR project this year.

Pastor Sibisi is the Chairperson of Abalindi Welfare Society:
