Jordan Convention Bureau to join ICCA ARP

The Jordan Convention Bureau (JCB) which is under the umbrella of the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) is delighted to announce the expansion of its existing partnership with ICCA as an official Associations Relations Partner (ARP), enforcing Jordan as a solid destination when it comes to hosting international association conferences given Jordan’s strong foundation of local associations.

After having hosted the ICCA Middle East Forum earlier this year, this new partnership with ICCA is considered to be a step in the right direction towards establishing Jordan as “The Go To” destination for association conferences and meetings in the region.

Giving the fact that the Jordan Convention Bureau (JCB) is relatively young compared to other established bureaus in the region, Jordan is seeking to enhance its competitiveness and enlarge its position as a meetings industry destination. Jordan has always been a sanctuary for collaboration and exploration, this opportunity will cement this fact even further.

Dr. Abed Al Razzaq Arabiyat, Managing Director of Jordan Tourism Board (JTB), said: ‘’Following the launch of the JCB in 2017, the newly established Jordan Convention Bureau has gone deeply in the business of association conferences, with strong association base in Jordan; we believe Jordan will be able to position itself  within this industry’’.

Luma Khatib, Head of the Jordan Convention Bureau (JCB), said: ‘’We have had big strides ever since the establishment, with the rapid development and commitment from the local industry in Jordan, we are optimistic about the future of Jordan in association conferences, our cooperation with ICCA is considered vital and we’re looking forward to great achievements’’.
