During the holocaust musicians kept playing and secretly composing in the hope that someday, their music would be played again.

For more than three decades, Professor Francesco Lotoro scoured the world looking for the hidden manuscripts and memories of the holocaust survivors.

The majority of the music is surprisingly joyful, despite the desperate circumstances in which it was composed and the likelihood that it would never be discovered.

Last week, was the Holocaust Remembrance Day, and last night in this amazing concert, holocaust survivors were invited. One of them participated in the concert with a song she remembers from the concentration camp, a song that filled her with hope.

The concert was led by the world renowned Ashdod Symphony Orchestra, musicians from JNF UK-with Bikurim Performing Arts School and Yerucham Conservatory

The International Convention Center in Jerusalem was extremely proud to host this concert as a tribute to the memory of the murdered 6 million, and a joyous celebration of their hope and belief in the Jewish future.

The concert took place at the International Convention Center in Jerusalem on April 15th.
