Many destinations and venues struggle with international association business opportunities, not because they lack capacity, but because they lack the process, relationships, and practical know-how needed to bid effectively. This workshop is designed to close that gap.
Ahead of IMEX America, participants will hear directly from international associations and experienced peers about how destinations are evaluated, what relationships matter, and where bids most often break down. Attendees will then bring a live lead — won, lost, or still unclear — into a facilitated working session with fellow ICCA members to test what to do next. Through shared examples, practical discussion, and open Q&A with ICCA leadership and bid experts, participants will leave with a clearer framework for assessing opportunities and a concrete next step.
