This year's Country and City Rankings Report offers further proof that we're experiencing a renaissance in the meetings and events space, with in-person events nearly back to levels seen in 2019. This year's Rankings Report featured more than 10,000 meetings, an increase of almost 1,200 meetings compared with 2022. The signs of recovery are promising, and we're excited to see what comes next.

This Public Abstract focuses on in-person and hybrid meetings as this is the main driver of the industry when it comes to knowledge sharing, human interaction, and economic impact. ICCA Business Intelligence also allows users to view planned meetings and note when locations win a bid, which allows members the option of creating alternative rankings based on their requirements.

The ICCA Country and City Rankings is an important indicator of the health of the industry and trends in global meetings and events. We're glad to see a positive trajectory, and ICCA looks forward to another year of growth and evolution for our industry.
