How is the ICCA Business Intelligence database beneficial for your work/organisation?
At the Ministry of Tourism of the Government of Mexico, we are convinced of the importance of working with clear, accurate and well-profiled information. For this reason, the ICCA database allows us to identify which international events truly have potential for our country, including their requirements (RFPs), timing, countries where they have previously rotated, and organiser contact details, enabling us to follow up on leads effectively.
Do you have any tips for your fellow ICCA members?
Do not stop at the basic data. The platform offers different options to gather highly valuable and useful information, allowing you to conduct searches based on your specific needs, compare your destination with competing markets, and assess the viability of events for your country. If we learn to use the tool as a daily ally, we can optimise our work and connect more successfully with organisers looking for a destination like Mexico.
What positive message would you like to share with ICCAWorld.
MICE tourism is a very important economic driver, generating average spending above that of leisure tourism. For this reason, it is essential to continue building this network of information and strategic allies in a coordinated and conscious way, with a shared vision of contributing to the continued strengthening of this segment.
