The BI feedback button is your friend! The more you use it, the more concrete information you get. ICCA members - together with the ICCA team - are working hard to achieve a mutually beneficial situation of sharing information on the ICCA Business Intelligence Database.
Keep finding ways to press it and you'll be in the running to become the next Researcher of the Month - or even Researcher of the Year!
Nora Saloumi, International Convention Centre Sydney, has secured the coveted title this month! Here's what Nora had to say:
How is the ICCA database beneficial for your work/organisation?
The ICCA database is instrumental in helping us identify new opportunities and engage with the right decision‑makers and influencers globally. By providing visibility across association leadership, it supports more informed market engagement, strengthens relationships and enhances our ability to connect with organisations at the right time and at the right level.
Do you have any tips for your fellow ICCA members?
Never underestimate the potential of an event for your city. Take the time to understand an association’s objective and what success looks like for their event. Clearly articulate your unique strengths and focus on how you can genuinely support the association in delivering a meaningful and impactful outcome for their members.
What positive message would you like to share with ICCAWorld (this doesn’t have to be about work/database/research).
Working with ICCA, association leaders, associations and the broader business events industry is about leveraging the strengths of an entire ecosystem. One that fosters collaboration, provokes thought leadership, promotes meaningful knowledge sharing, and ignites a shared passion to make a lasting difference for communities, industries and cities around the world.
