What is your favourite success story from your organisation?

We are proud to have been one of the key production partners for COP28 United Nations Climate Change Conference at Expo City Dubai 2023. Encore was entrusted with the congress production, managing various zones for different client groups. These zones supported all conference formats, from live to hybrid to virtual, ensuring the necessary infrastructure such as rigging, power, lighting, and technical setups across multiple stages. We also provided cutting-edge digital solutions, managing everything from VIP press conferences for government officials, corporate entities, and associations. The scale of this project required a dedicated team of 160 professionals, contributing over 3,500 man-days in pre-production and delivery.

What can we expect to see from Encore in the future?

We are driven by the inspiration to deliver innovative solutions that seamlessly combine technical, digital, and creative elements into a flawless production. Our approach creates cost-effective synergies for international formats, leveraging out-of-the-box solutions and offering novel ways to reimagine existing solutions. Currently, we are also onboarding AI-powered translation technology, further enhancing the experience for global audiences.

Which trends do you see in the Association Meetings?

Current trends show a growing interest in integrating innovative solutions that bring added value to event experiences. These trends highlight the potential for achieving synergies across different events, leading to more cost-effective and future-ready outcomes in sense of attendee journey. From reimagining traditional approaches to embracing new technologies like AI-driven translation, the industry is moving towards more creative, digital, and technical solutions that elevate the overall event experience. These developments offer exciting opportunities to enhance engagement and efficiency across global formats.

What is an industry challenge your organisation is facing currently?

A key challenge in today’s event industry is balancing the increasing price sensitivity of clients with the need for long-term planning certainty. As budgets tighten, there is a growing demand for a clear value proposition that goes beyond the traditional focus on production concepts and delivery. Clients are seeking solutions that align closely with their financial constraints while still offering measurable value.

This shift calls for a strategic approach where the emphasis is placed on delivering cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality or creativity. The focus is moving from merely executing event logistics to providing a comprehensive strategy that demonstrates return on investment and long-term benefits. As such, the ability to deliver innovative, scalable, and flexible solutions is now more important than ever, allowing for an optimized balance between budgetary requirements and impactful event outcomes.
