This month we get to know better Planitswiss
What was your motivation to join ICCA?
We are a one-stop-shop in events management having developed our own application for virtual and hybrid events. From organizational services to production, we can provide all types of services. Joining ICCA will allow us to share experience in the “new” world of congress and conferences, but also to get in contact with potential customers that we could assist in the organization of their congresses and conferences.
Tell us your story. How did planitswiss get started?
We started 18 years ago with the streaming and AV production of conferences, moving up the supply chain to become a world-wide PCO. With the pandemic emerging, we found ourselves back in the early stages, with the difference of being perfectly aware of the needs and expectations of a global PCO suppling therefore our services also to our competitors.
What sets planitswiss apart?
Having our own production and technical company in our group, we can provide events management services either as a global contractor or only very specific competences to round-up the project team of our customers. With the pandemic, to provide the services of a production house (filming, streaming etc). together with the organizational and logistical competences is the most mentioned advantage from our customers.
What can we expect to see from planitswiss in the future?
Coming from the digital side of the business, our aim is to stay at the edge of new ways in running conferences, congresses, galas, and other general assemblies, with customer satisfaction as the ultimate goal.
Which trends do you see in the Association Meetings?
Participants and sponsors want to meet physically, but they will be much more critical in choosing their events. They will request hybrid events allowing them to spend only a limited time on site, attending other parts of events or other congresses only virtually. If planned smart, this can open additional revenue streams for organizers!
