The red update button is your friend! The more you use it, the more concrete information you get. ICCA members - together with the ICCA team - are working hard to achieve a mutually beneficial situation of sharing information on the ICCA Association Database.
Keep finding ways to press it and you'll be in the running to become the next Researcher of the Month - or even Researcher of the Year!
Priscilla Overdiek, Consulent congrestoerisme at Leuven Convention Bureau has secured the coveted title this month! Here's what Myriam had to say:
How is the ICCA database beneficial for your work/organization?
We use the ICCA database on a daily basis. It provides valuable information and helps us to identify which international associations are organising conferences that are potentially interesting.
It’s important to us that we find a good match between Leuven as a city, the know-how present in Leuven, and the conferences we attract.
We also do our utmost to add meeting editions to help keep the ICCA database up to date. This is not only an advantage for us but also for all other users of ICCA.
Do you have any tips for your fellow ICCA members?
Use all aspects of the database. It is useful for your lead research to make a selection and use the 'save’ feature. Don't forget to regularly update your search parameters.
If you have any questions or encounter any difficulties with the database, do not hesitate to contact the ICCA team. They will certainly help you!
What positive message would you like to share with ICCAWorld
We are all in this together! Most of us have been through a difficult time these recent years. However, it is my belief that with a positive attitude and collaboration we will manage to come back stronger. It is vital that we share information, best- and worst-case practices, and listen and learn from one another.
