What is your favorite success story from your organisation?
Courtyard by Marriott Taipei is owned and operated by the Leofoo Tourism Group. The Global Views ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Awards, which recognize outstanding efforts by domestic companies, is celebrating its 20th edition this year. Leofoo Hotel Group, having won this prestigious award in 2022 as the first tourism industry recipient, has once again distinguished itself among 319 submissions, taking home the "Workplace Inclusion Model Award" in the 2023 Global Views ESG Awards. This achievement makes Leofoo Hotel Group the only tourism operator to receive a human resources award this year and one of the few in the industry to win the Global Views ESG Award twice. Leofoo is dedicated to making diversity and inclusion a key part of its company culture through regular communication and employee involvement. To achieve this, our company has implemented several initiatives, including the introduction of smart robots to allow staff to focus more on providing professional services to guests, the redesign of roles for middle-aged and senior employees, the creation of a "Hi Team" for employees with hearing disabilities, and the development of a dedicated Line HR assistance platform for real-time, private communication among staff. These efforts have resulted in a 41.8% increase in the proportion of middle-aged, disabled, and foreign employees, fostering a healthy and inclusive work environment where diverse groups can thrive and contribute their unique value. Consequently, Leofoo Hotel Group has also received the 2023 Ministry of Labor Golden Award, along with certifications for Senior-Friendly Enterprises, Model Enterprises for Disabled Workers, and Excellent Lactation Room Facilities
