ICCA is strengthening its commitment to sustainability and advocacy with the appointment of Alexander Alles as Senior Director, Advocacy and Sustainability.

Alexander will join the ICCA team effective 1 April as part of ICCA's ongoing efforts to advance these two core strategic pillars.

Alexander’s appointment reflects ICCA’s long-term commitment to advocate for the value and strategic positioning of international business meetings and events; to amplify the voice of the industry; and to accelerate sustainable transformation. He will lead ICCA’s global advocacy and sustainability strategy, working closely with:

  • ICCA members and key partners 
  • Policymakers and international institutions 
  • ICCA’s regional teams and global community

This role ensures ICCA can continue to drive forward the initiatives, frameworks, and partnerships required to support our industry at a moment when sustainability expectations and advocacy challenges are rapidly evolving.
