Young Professionals

ICCA fully believes in – and backs - the potential of the Young Professionals working in the international events and meetings industry.

It is the young who often have the boldest vision, ask the brightest questions, and challenge the status quo. But it is often the young who feel most sidelined, excluded, and therefore prone to walking way. That is why ICCA promotes several initiatives to help our young professionals build an exciting and influential career. Initiatives like:

Future Leaders Council – an elected 2-year fixed term post working with like-minded professionals from across the globe, keeping ICCA relevant as a thought-leader regarding the international associations community.

Young Professionals Forum – dedicated time and space at ICCA events to discuss issues, brainstorm ideas, and look at forward-thinking solutions to take to the wider ICCA audience.

ICCASkills – global certification for the events and meetings industry to upskill, educate and inspire young professionals to commit to a long-term – and hopefully very successful – industry career.

Speakers – we often look to the disrupters, the doers, the people from across the world unafraid to do things differently and bring them forward into the spotlight as speakers at our events. This is great advocacy for Sustainability; Legacy; and DEI.

The future is happening now.
