Marketing Executive with design skills - Education Department
In order to keep up the high standards of our education programmes, we are looking for a Marketing Executive with design skills for ICCA’s Education Department. As Marketing Executive for ICCA’s education department you will work closely with ICCA’s Head of Education and Legacy Programmes who is based in the USA as well as ICCA’s marketing department based in the Netherlands. The position self is based in the ICCA Asia Pacific Regional Office in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia
As Marketing Executive, you will provide essential support to the Head of Education & Legacy Programmes regarding the marketing and promotion of ICCASkills and ICCA’s educational programmes and legacy initiatives. You will be responsible for the timely implementation and realization of the ICCASkills marketing strategy plans which are drawn up in consultation with the Head of Education and Legacy Programmes in coordination with all the marketing and PR of ICCA activities. Additionally, you may be asked to support the ICCA Asia Pacific office with other marketing-related tasks and projects.
This role has a strong operational character and requires handling multiple (and / or more complex) work types within the Education department. You are able to conduct insightful market research to support establishing a marketing strategy to promote ICCASkills that will effectively reach the target audience. You are comfortable evaluating the marketing process, and work to critique and improve its outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Co-develop and execute the annual ICCASkills marketing plan
- Co-develop, design and execute ICCASkills marketing campaigns (email, newsletters, social media content) to drive sales.
- Create and design all the ICCASkills marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, social media graphics, banners, and presentations, that aligns with the brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
- Manage and update the ICCASkills website, ensuring a visually appealing and user-friendly design.
- Provide graphic design support for other Education projects in the Education Department.
- Prepare, execute, coordinate and analyse all (online) marketing and advertising activities such as ICCASkills websites, advertising campaigns, presence in trade fairs, Google Adwords.
- Stay up-to-date on current marketing trends
- Coordinate, and execute administrative tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years work experience in in a similar position
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, in marketing, communications, graphic design, or related field.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or other similar tools.
- Manage of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout composition. And knowledge of digital marketing channels and platforms.
- Experience with working with a CMS, CRM, email marketing tools and social media
- Experience in SEO, Google Analytics/Adwords, HTML, design and video editing is advantageous;
- Demonstratable knowledge of organizational processes
- Strong analytical, communication, time-management and creativity skills
- Excellent language skills in English (oral and written), knowledge in other foreign languages (e.g. Spanish, Mandarin) will be advantageous
- Experience in marketing in a B2B environment (Association Meeting Industry is a plus)
- Knowledge / experience in the (association) meetings sector is a big advantage
