What was your motivation to Join ICCA?
Our motivation to join ICCA was driven by the desire to be part of a global network that promotes excellence in the meetings and conventions industry. ICCA's reputation for providing valuable resources, connections, and expertise aligns with our commitment to enhancing our services and staying at the forefront of the convention industry.
What Sets Persada Johor International Convention Centre Apart?
Persada Johor International Convention Centre is the first convention centre in Malaysia to be a member of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC). As a member of UNGC, we uphold and promote the principles of sustainable development, human rights, and responsible business practices, integrating these values into our operations and decision-making. We actively engage in energy-efficient measures, waste reduction, and eco-friendly practices to minimize our environmental impact.
Besides that, our commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for clients and attendees alike ensures that each event held at our venue is memorable and successful. Persada Johor preferred Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (M.I.C.E) destination in Southern Malaysia. Strategically located in the heart of Johor Bahru city centre in Johor, it is more than an event space but also offers a variety of value-added facilities and services. What is your favourite success story from your organisation?
There are so many to choose from but if we were to pinpoint one favourite part of being in this industry, it is being involved in hosting international conferences that brought together professionals from various industries. These events facilitated knowledge exchange, fostered meaningful connections, and had a positive impact on both the delegates and the local community. Example of these events are such as business conferences, medical summits, digital and smart city forums and so on.
What can we expect to see from for Persada Johor International Convention Centre in the future?
Persada Johor International Convention Centre will continue to be the leading MICE destination, attracting more global conferences and events. We plan to continue investing in facility upgrades, innovations, and partnerships to provide seamless and sustainable experiences for our clients and guests.
By integrating ESG initiatives and being a member of the UNGC, we also hope to attract more green events to Johor, Malaysia. We strive to be a socially responsible organization that contributes positively to the environment and the communities we serve while upholding the principles of sustainable development on a global level.
